So you want to serve the Lord? Do you really? HAVEYOU CONSIDERED THE COST?
Will you go anywhere , at any time Jesus calls? Will you do whatever He asks, even if you don't understand why? Are you able to appear foolish in the eyes of family and friends, for His sake? Are you willing to sell all you have and give it to the poor? Will you offer your body as a living sacrifice, a bond slave, without ANY rights, in His service? Would you go hungry, live in a cave, go to jail, or even die to serve Him?
Whenever you serve Jesus, there can be no conditions. You must sign the BLANK CONTRACT and let Him fill all the blanks. Then no turning back! That is why He said . . . . . "First count the cost!" (Luke 9:62) "No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. (paraphrased) If you aren't willing to plow, 'til the work is done, stay out of the field!
So you want to serve the Lord? DO YOU REALLY?
