Exodus 4:2

 STILL PREACHIN

Stanley Hamilton

(Exodus 4:2)   "And the Lord said unto him (Moses),  What is that in thine hand?"

God used the shepherds rod in MOSES hand to deliver Israel out of Egypt.  The rod became a snake, turned the Nile River into blood, parted the Red Sea, won a battle when raised above Moses head, and many other miracles!
DAVID used a simple sling and stones from a brook, to bring down a giant!  DORCAS used a needle to bring comfort to her neighbors. (Acts 9)  TEENS, in Indiana, used their lawnmowers to mow lawns for sick and elderly. WOMEN took turns cooking meals for them. VARIED PEOPLE used the time on their hands, to visit clean house and perhaps read to them.

We live in a world full of people who are hurting, and need help jus to get through the day.  They need physical help, encouragement and sometimes just to know that someone cares for them.  God loves them and has told us to love them too!

Christians are God's representatives in the world.  We are His instruments for ministering His love.  We are His voice, hands and feet.  All have SOMETHING we can offer, even as small as a stone, or needle.

WHAT IS THAT IN THINE HAND?
Little is much, when God is in it!
