 MOMENT OF TRUTH

"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you and  shall persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsly, for my sake.  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." Matthew 5:10-12

Great blessing and reward are promised to those Christians who endure persecution, because they chose to be faithful to God instead of the world. Many Christians will follow Jesus as long as it doesn't cost much more than church attendance, tithe (maybe), and thanksgiving at meals.  That is the average Christian participation in their faith.

The fact is, most people  are men pleasers, rather than God pleasers. They try to do whatever necessary, to get along with the world.  Christians too, go as far as possible to please the world AND GOD!  It can't be done, for the world is in opposition to God.  These Christians are "doubleminded".

Throughout history, satan has made it as unpleasant  as possible for anyone to live for God.  satan has caused kings, nations and armies to harass, torture and kill believers, to stop them.  Persecution separates the wheat from the chaff.  In persecution, the wheat will remain, while the chaff will fall away!

God has promised that Those who ENDURE (persecution) TO THE END, shall be saved"  matt. 24:13
Persecution of Christians has ALREADY started throughout the world.  TORTURE, BEHEADINGS and IMPRISONMENT . . . .for no other reason except believing and following JESUS!

We are the "OMEGA GENERATION".  Examine your committment to JESUS.  When the Persecutor knocks on YOUR door,

WILL YOU REMAIN STANDING WHEAT, OR FOUND TO BE NOTHING BUT CHAFF?
