STILL PREACHIN

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world." (Titus 2:11-12)
If you're one of the folks who believe it is impossible to live Christlike, in this world, then look closely at our scripture. Note that we are to "live soberly, righteously and GODLY....IN THIS PRESENT WORLD." The bible also says, (1 Pet. 1:16) "it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." God would never command us to do the impossible. Again, the bible says, (2 Pet. 1: 3-4) "HIS DIVINE POWER hath given unto us ALL THINGS pertaining unto life and GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are GIVEN UNTO US, exceeding great and precious PROMISES; that by these (promises), YOU MIGHT BE PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE." Wow! We can be partakers of God's very own nature! God has made it possible through His divine power.
Sadly, there are those who preach, "we have to sin, every day, in thought, word or deed." And there are those who claim "I'm just a poor sinner, saved by grace." Well Christian, it's time to stop sinning and start witnessing (by example) to the life of Jesus.
