"for everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." LUKE 11:10
This is an invitation from Jesus to pray. It is also an assurance that prayers will be answered. It is good to remember that prayer was INITIATED BY GOD, not man. Someone said "prayer is a conversation between two people who love each other." It is good to think of God's love toward us, and to realize that His love is the basis for the invitation to pray. WE ARE NOT INTRUDERS, BUT FAMILY, encouraged to pray about everything.
The depth of God's love is impossible to measure. The potential of prayer is limited only by our faith and willingness to ask. America is in deep trouble, and in need of much prayer. Is there anything too hard for God? James wrore, "Ye have not because ye ask not." Have you asked God to heal America?
