"AS THEY MINISTERED TO THE LORD, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work hereunto I have called them." (Acts 13:2)
Most of us attend church to be ministered to. We shop for a church, much like we shop for merchandise. It must offer a program, pastor music and people who minister to OUR felt needs. Have you ever thought of going to church with the purpose of ministering to God, or others, rather being ministered to?
People often leave churches because THEY don't get anything out of the services. Perhaps a different view of church attendance would be helpful. How about going just to minister to the Lord. Do you think He might leave the services, hungry to be worshipped and dissatisfied? Do you really give Him anything, of yourself, or do you go just to receive? You cannot possibly outgive God. Whatever you give Him, will be given back many times over.
When you genuinely worship and express your love through prayer and praise, He will leave satisfied. In return, when He ministers to you, you will leave satisfied and HUNGRY.......hungry to come back for more.....Try it.
