A MOMENT OF TRUTH

(Habakkuk 1:13niv) " Your eyes are too pure to look upon evil."
God CANNOT fellowship with sinners. It is not that He WILL NOT, but that He CANNOT! Sin is repulsive. nauseating and intolerable to His pure and holy nature.
When I was a young boy, I was unable to join a "daredevil " club, because I could not pass their initiation. I really wanted to be "in" with the guys, but couldn't bring myself to eat a worm.
So it is with God. He loves ALL the world, but He is pure LIGHT and in Him is no DARKNESS (sin) at all. (1 John 1:5,6). It intolerable to His nature. He could not even look at His Son, as he bore our sin to the cross. Everything about sin is repulsive to God. If we are ever gong to enter His Presence and fellowship with Him, we must first let the blood of Jesus wash all our sin away. Then we must learn to walk in OBEDIENCE to His word, IF we would stay clean! (I believe) God loves and would receive everyone IF HE COULD, but our sin is far more reprehensible to God, than eating a worm is to me! It is not that God WON,T allow everyone into His company, but He CAN'T!
