James 1:2

 STILL PREACHIN

Stanley Hamilton

( James 1:2) "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations."

Jesus told us that in this world we would have many temptations (trials), but not to fear, for  He had VICTORY over the world.  His victory is our victory, for "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

The bible tells of great heroes who suffered affliction while living righteous lives!

JOB lost everything he owned, including his children, for no other reason than his righteous living.
JOSEPH was hated by his own brothers and sold into slavery.  Then his masters wife FALSLEY  accused him of attempted rape and he was imprisoned for years.  God rescued him and used him to save Israel!  PAUL was beaten, jailed, stoned and finally beheaded, because he was SERVING GOD.  JESUS . . . . What can I say?  "Man of sorrows."

satan makes sure that we are tormented in this life, especially if you belong to Jesus. He wants you back  Every trial is a test of faith and will lessen your faith in God, or can be used to build it stronger. If you will let Him, God will make you more valuable to Himself, as you make it through each lesson of faith.  HOLD ON.  God is not through with you yet.   Be still, and KNOW THAT HE IS GOD!  He is building spiritual muscles on you.

 COUNT IT ALL JOY!
